Stunning Coloured Windows

Serving as a large, visual feature of a home’s exterior, more and more homeowners are paying attention to the appearance of their windows. To meet this demand, advances in technology and materials have resulted in colours and finishes that are revolutionising how windows look and how they are used. As such, the popularity of coloured windows continues to grow. Here at Mid Wales Windows & Conservatories we have been manufacturing and installing coloured windows in Mid Wales since 1994. Understanding the many different styles and colours of home found locally, we offer an unrivalled selection of stunning colours and finishes.

Coloured Windows in any Design

This choice means your coloured windows can be perfectly matched to anything you want, including traditional timber frames. Alternatively, your coloured frames can be used to offer a more contemporary contrast to existing colours. Such choice includes Grey Windows, Brown Windows, White Grain and Chartwell Green, all of which undergo an extensive multi-coating process that provides an incredibly deep, rich finish that will look brand for many years to come. Featuring the unrivalled strength and resilience of materials such as UPVC and aluminium, our coloured windows offer some fantastic benefits. One such advantage is that our coloured windows offer superior ‘A’ rated energy efficiency, meaning not only will they keep your home warmer and look fantastic, but they will also help significantly reduce your heating bills; making them a great low cost home improvement.

We provide all types of glazing options, even privacy glazing…

The window frame is of course a very important component, but so is the type of glass you have inserted it. Those wanting to save as much as they can on fuel bills could look into the possibility of Energy Rated Windows, or if you want to add further styling to the overall design then there’s always the option of leaded glass or astragal bars.

Double Glazing

Replacement double glazing will completely transform the whole look and feel of your home as you can expect it to benefit from increased aesthetic appeal and a higher level of energy efficiency. Whether you live in a traditional or period property, at Visual we offer a huge range double glazed window designs guaranteed to set your property apart. Nowhere else will you find such a varied selection of replacement window designs. Our revolutionary double glazing windows offer style, security and a saving on your energy bills. That’s why you won’t have to go far to find a home in Yorkshire that we have already transformed by Visual.

Triple Glazing

Not one, not two, but three panes of thermally efficient glass are included in a set of Triple Glazed Windows which makes them a real winner when it comes to energy-saving. Heat loss will become a thing of the past, as will draughts and cold breezes in your home when you replace your old windows for this most contemporary form of window. Triple Glazing can be integrated into any of our window styles so that not only do you benefit from a better looking home, but you also benefit from cheaper energy in the long-term.

Privacy Glazing

Your home should be a place where you can shut yourself off from the outside world and it can be if you choose to have privacy glazing fitted. It’s a fantastic solution particularly in areas such as the bathroom and entrance into your property as it will prevent people from being able to gaze into your living space. It can be utilised in both double glazing and triple glazing and despite its purpose, will still draw in a generous amount of natural sunlight.

Pretty as a picture – choose between a traditional or contemporary sculptured frame…

Some window and door systems suit certain types of property more than others and it usually comes down to the differences in dimensions and contours present in the frame. On the face of it they may seem fairly insignificant, but you would be surprised at how much of an impact they can have on the overall design.

UPVC

It’s easily understandable why many people favour the contoured profile UPVC ahead of any other window material as it’s extremely low maintenance, enduring, and relatively affordable to buy. It also offers an outstanding amount of energy efficiency, allowing you to utilise your heating system less often, which results in energy bills dropping to a more acceptable monetary level. The adaptability of UPVC is a priceless feature for those seeking a curved or arched window or door design.

Aluminium

Contemporary Aluminium has fast become the favoured alternative to UPVC predominantly because of the slimness of the profile and its ability to draw in copious amounts of natural sunlight due to the large expanse of glass. The outside face features an intricate contour and has a subtlety to it that’s impossible to resist, and the chamfered bead crafts clean sightlines. The many powder coated finishes that can be applied to an aluminium frame are also mightily impressive thanks to the rich colour conjured upon their application. There’s even a sublimated woodgrain finish that looks just like natural wood.

Heritage

You will take some serious convincing when we inform you that our Heritage windows and doors aren’t authentic timber products such is their likeness to the real thing in style, dimension and finish. Remarkably, even the window sits flush with the window frame when fully closed – just as you would expect in a traditional 19th Century timber equivalent. What you can’t tell from just looking at a Heritage frame is that is actually composed of a composite material which gives the product all the energy efficient benefits of a 21st Century window or door and needs no form of maintenance. Those living in conservation areas that need to replace their existing design could find the Heritage range to be their best option.

Prepare to be overwhelmed for choice when it comes to finishes, colours and combinations…

Window buying requires a considerable amount of thought and contemplation such is the array of choice available, particularly as you can nowadays opt for dual-colour finish which basically means that either side of the frame can be applied with contrasting colours. For example, a classic White works wonderfully in tandem with a traditional Oak finish. Whatever your preference, we can guarantee you a Classic UPVC, Contemporary Aluminium or Heritage Window that offers stylishness, sturdiness and sophistication.

UPVC Colours

White coloured UPVC windows will never go out of fashion, of that there is no doubt, but times have changed and window design has evolved meaning that UPVC can now be finished in virtually any colour you can think of, even in colours that you never thought possible. We undertake an intense paint production process which allows us to create contemporary coloured offerings such as Chartwell Green and Grey, and traditional finishes like Whitegrain and Irish Oak.

Aluminium Colours

An 11-stage powder coating process is followed before the application of finish to our Contemporary Aluminium windows. Some may have a liking for a look that closely resembles traditional timber and who could blame them? If that’s the case then they’ll be attracted to our woodgrain finishes which are achieved by conducting a method called sublimination, resulting in Walnut, Rosewood and Oak effects that look just like real wood.

Heritage Colours

The influence of traditional 19th Century timber windows on our Heritage range is there for all to see such is the painstaking detail evident in the frame and hardware. The period finishes available in this stunning collection are also as you’d expect for windows of this type, with colours comprising Clotted Cream, Cotswold Biscuit, Painswick, Eclectic Grey, Corse Lawn and English, Irish and Silvered Oak.
